UberBot Mods: Safe to run messenger and friend adder at same time?

I remember some old MS Bot products (no longer around) where it was not safe to run multiple instances of the program bc it ran off the registry. I'm not wanting to use multiple instances of the same product, but is it safe to have your message sender and friend adder running at the same time (assuming your computer and internet connection can handle it)?
