confused about linux server and software

So I finally found a dedicated server company that offers Linux and is willing to give me 128 ip's. I'm confused, and not really a tech guy, but don't your bots only work on windows systems? Or do they also work on Linux? (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Please help me with this one. Sorry don't know anything about linux :S

OK, i think i got it sorted out, the server would only be used to access the proxies right? I'd still be using the bots from a windows based system? I think it goes like this ...
