Proxy advice (not support)
Please forgive me if this type of post is also against the forum rules.

I've bought and used bundle #1, the message sender and the proxy checker. Everything is great (without proxies), exactly what I wanted.

I am however, having problems with proxies. I've tried every free proxy list out there, run all the proxies through the proxy checker and I still haven't found a single one that works. (A few times the proxy checker would come up with the captcha, but when I used the same proxy in the account creator - nothing).

I even went out and tried buying a socks proxy list from checkproxy.com (1 day access for $3). They haven't gotten back to me and it's been 5 days.

So I'm wondering, can anyone out there point me in the direction of some valid proxies? I don't mind paying for a list or even a private service if it's actually going to work. Is there any other reason I'm having such trouble? It wouldn't be a router issue, would it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

your solution, although it highly sucks, is to wait for uber to implement the same proxy support into the account creator, as he has in some of his other programs. if you'll notice, just about daily lately, another of his programs have been upgraded to multi-threaded, and multi-proxy (http/socks) support.

but as of now, the 'proxy' feature in account creator is useless. it simply doesn't work. i know that uber says it works, but yah, it doesn't. it only support socks. i even went so far as to setup a socks proxy on one of my own servers, that used no authentication, and it still wouldnt work.

so, just gotta wait. meh. i'm right there with yah. waiting, waiting, twirling my thumbs ...

There are two solutions for this problem you can try.

The first is to simply switch your IP address. If you have cable or dsl chances are pretty good you can do this by simply recycling your modem, turn it off and on. This assumes you have dynamic ip's and not static (hope thats right). By recycling your modem you get a new IP. It's not fool proof. Only the last 3-4 numbers usually change, but its good enough. (this will not work on hi5)

The other way is to bypass the proxy support in creator by using a computer based proxy service. There are free and paid. Example of free is TOR. If your a techie there are other ways, but I'm not a techie so I rely on programs I can install that does it all for me. (this will also work on hi5)

I use both methods. And see mixed results from each.

Good luck!
