Thanks, Craigs List is with out a doubt the hardest, any one tells you different are lying their you know what off! There are different degrees of success on CL and different techniques, but just like tagged, tech is every thing. I don't know what level of success I can achieve But I know I will see some level.
I think the reason most, perhaps as high as 95% of webmasters fail so terribly on alternative sites like tagged, CL, and even hi5 is because they market the same way as they did on myspace. They expect the bot to do every thing for them. It takes human manipulation (technique), human skills and much testing and experimenting to really call yourself a marketer. You don't need to spend $2000 for a ocr bypass bot to make money on ms. I can make just as much and even more with out ocr. I ran side by side tests.
Now real marketers work their butts off, not their bots off. So do not expect them to freely tell people who ask what the secrets are to success and reasons for failures. I get accused of telling too much on my blog! But trust me I do not.
The best tip I can give any one is simply learn marketing. Its real work, lots of research, experiementing, testing, many hours! We learned on our own, no one told us secrets
