Activation

Everytime i reboot my software becomes deactivated. I spoke to support the other day and they had to reactivate all my software. They said to enable S.M.A.R.T. on my hard drive through my bios settings, but my hard drive doesn't appear to support it.

I don't wanna have to contact support everytime I have to reboot so what can I do?

EDIT: I downloaded smartmontools and it says it has enabled SMART on the drive. I'm gonna attempt to reboot and see if the activation code changes. Hopefully not. Will let you know.

EDIT 2: When i rebooted it appears as though SMART turned off but the activation code remained the same from the last reboot. I don't know what that means.

you dont need to activate SMART or do anything to your bios!

the software by default looks if SMART is enabled and if its not then it will get the hard drive volume! the only way for the volume to change is by a format and not reboot!

the reason it was asking for activation again is because you were disabling and enabling SMART. the first time we activated the software it was from reading the serial then we activated from volume and now we activated from serial again! just leave SMART enable that way if you format you dont have to activate again!
